Stay At Home Moms – What is a day in the life like for you? I think we just don’t get enough credit for all..
Do you think that Stay at home moms (SAHMs) receive enough credit for everything that we do? I don’t. I mean, the general perception from working mothers is that we just lounge around all day and do nothing. What a false belief! We are responsible for doing a thousand and one different things to make a HOUSEHOLD run smoothly! I mean, an average day consists of raising our children, cleaning, laundry, cooking, dishes, yard work, running errands, taking kids everywhere, teaching, playing, grocery shopping, playgroups, meetings, organizing, keeping track of accounts, and the list goes on and on. Not only that, but we are raising the next generation, and giving our children our all every day and night of our lives! That, to me is the most important job on the planet. I just don’t think that people realize everything that we do! I absolutely love what I do and we as SAHMs are giving our everything to our husbands and children. I wouldn’t trade it for ANYTHING! Moms, what do you think?
~Biz~ – FYI, I did not change my user name – I have NEVER even used another name besides my own for YAHOO, and I’ve only been on Answers since like the middle of June. I’ve asked a total of three questions. Don’t assume things and think you know it all when you obviously don’t have a clue, such as in this scenario. Did it ever occur to you that other people ask questions on Yahoo Answers too, and probably (gasp, shock), just might have some of the same opinions? This question wasn’t even directed at you, it was directed towards other SAHMs and how they feel. Now you can take your foot out of your mouth and have a nice day! Thank you dear
