Students at Vernal Middle School lost two classmates within one month. Tyler Kiever passed away due to health issues, and Ashley Maynard died after being hit by a car.

Some Albertville High School students are doing their part trying to help Haiti earthquake victims. “I don’t know anybody down there. I don’t have any ties or any affiliation with anyone down there in Haiti,” Charlie Krausse, a teacher at AHS that has worked to organize the fundraiser, said.
